Yes, this did take longer than originally estimated. Their staff was friendly through out, and very efficient. They went out of their way to fix my canopy. I take my hat off to the staff at Beekman. This amount of sealant needs some time to set, so they did not repeat the water test. next I saw ALL the windows were ripped out and brand new rubbers fitted, sealed in all possible spots. Apparently one or two windows showed signs of leaking. Seems perfect now.Īt the same time another couple of gents were re-fitting the windows and sealing it. WHAT !! The rubber is removed from the rear door, and they are busy with some fibre glass work ! Apparently the seams were cut wrong, they completely re-did it and fitted a brand new rubber. Some time later I take a walk to see what they are up to. With this I leave them to the job while I enjoy my coffee and do some work. NOT this group of people !! "Who installed your canopy?" I was just going to use a piece of foam strip to seal this. They noticed that the rear door (it is a "full door" canopy), has an air gap at one spot when closed. ![]() The water test showed the leaks out quick enough. Deducting travel time this would hardly be worth it, even though the offer made a very good impression ! So I took some work with and enjoyed some coffee while the job was done. Then offered a loan car while my canopy is being sorted. ![]() ![]() I was told it is a "quick job", definately not more than 2 hours.
